About Me
I am a year old college graduate with a B.S. in Business from Abraham Baldwin
Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia. I intend to obtain a Masters of Business Administration
with a focus in Information Technology, Data Analysis, or Web
Development. My plans also include obtaining technical certifications in the areas of networking
and database management.
I served as a Student Government Association Senator for the Stafford School of Business for the academic
year of 2018-2019. I have been awarded 4 Superior Honors Student certificates or higher and 12
Distinguished Student semester certificates or higher. I am a member of the Phi Theta Kappa and Phi Kappa
Phi honor societies.
I am an avid science enthusiast, with specific loves of meteorology, geology, volcanology, physics, and
astronomy. I am an officially trained and certified National Weather Service SKYWARN Spotter. Other
non-science loves of mine are economics, philosophy, and gaming. I am an avid Apple fan and have used
Apple products as my main computing products for over a decade. However, I also have a strong
appreciation of Linux-based operating systems, and I am quite proficient at working with Linux systems. I
also love dogs, but most especially especially wolves! 🐺
Programming
I first discovered programming when I was 15 years old. The first programming language I used was Lua. In later years I developed a deeper understanding of several other
languages, some of which I studied in college.
Below is a selection of the languages I am most familiar with and have actively worked with before. Please
note I am familiar with more languages than are just listed here.
Front-End Web Development | Back-End Web Development | Data Analysis | Other Programming Languages |
---|---|---|---|
HTML | Node.JS | R | Java |
CSS | PHP | Python | Lua |
JavaScript/jQuery | Tensorflow |
Art
When I was 18, I discovered a love for creating 3D graphics by making animations in Apple's Motion 5 software. Soon I discovered the free, open-source graphics software Blender, which became the mainstay for my graphics software. Over the years, I have created several dozen images in Blender.
Open Source
As I stated before, a large amount of my work is in the public domain. I strongly believe that
open-source development and usage are where true innovation occurs online, and I will always strive to
support the open-source community whenever possible.
My artwork is licensed under Creative Commons 0,
CC0 for short. It is in the public domain, free for all forms of usage, including commercial.
A significant amount of my programming is released under a licenses that allows for reuse and modification, such as the MIT
License this site is published under.
Philosophy
My own personal philosophy for what I create and design is: "Bold, Elegant, Simple, Innovative". This is a design philosophy I have held for several years. What I design will be bold, elegant, and chic, while also being simple, clean, and easy to understand and use, all while advancing the use of innovative new technologies and techniques. I adopted this design philosophy as my own motto because creating art pieces and programs in this style is a great love of mine.
